A fit-out or an upgrade almost never needs one trade. It needs a renovator, an electrician, a cabling contractor, an air-conditioning technician and a security installer.
That is five quotes to compare, five schedules to align and five companies to chase.
The waits between them are not idle time. Each of those contractors is on somebody else's site until your turn comes round, and none of them is planning around the others. Then when something fails or runs late, the renovator points at the electrician and the electrician points back. You are the only one who loses either way.
